Sonia Escaich

Sonia is currently CEO of V4Cure, a biotechnology company developing treatments for polycystic kidney disease and refractory ascites associated with cirrhosis.

Previously, Sonia served as Chief Operating Officer at 4PPharma and Regulaxis, two biotechnology companies where she coordinated research and development activities. She also co-founded and led Mutabilis for eight years, a company developing therapeutic molecules for the treatment of bacterial infections. In addition, she held senior R&D positions at Sandoz, Sytemix, Sanofi Aventis, Fabpharma, and Biosantech.

Sonia holds a PhD in microbiology, specializing in virology. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Sandoz in Vienna.
