Sonia Escaich

Sonia is currently CEO of V4Cure, a biotech company developing medicines for polycystic kidney disease and refractory ascites associated with cirrhosis.

 

Previously, Sonia served as Chief Operating Officer at 4P-Pharma and Regulaxis, two biotechnology companies where she coordinated research and development activities. She also co-founded and led Mutabilis for 8 years, a company developing therapeutic molecules for the treatment of bacterial infections. In addition, she held leadership R&D positions at Sandoz, Sytemix, Sanofi Aventis, Fabpharma, and Biosantech.

 

Sonia holds a PhD in microbiology, with a specialization in virology. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Sandoz in Vienna.
